How to Make Apricot and Nut Ball Ornaments
This recipe is fast and easy to make. A quality kitchen blender is the key to quickly whipping out a batch. Here’s how you make apricot and nut bites.
- Measure apricots, cranberries, cashews, pumpkin seeds and honey into your kitchen blender.
- Pulse and break everything up.
- If things stick to the upper part of your blender, push them down with spoon or shake with the lid on and continue pulsing.
- When everything has formed a gooey, sticky ball in the blender, stop.
- Empty the fruit and nuts into a bowl.
- Pull out an 8 inch piece of cling wrap and cut it in half.
- Take a small spoonful of the fruit and nut mixture and roll it into a ball that’s a bit smaller than golf ball.
- Place it in the center of a cling wrap square.
- Bring the 4 corners up and squeeze the wrap together just above the ball.
- Tie off with string and create a loop to hang the bites from.
- Decorate with a ribbon, if desired.
- Use in 4-6 days time.
