Do you want to monetize your website with ads, but aren’t sure which ad network company pays the most and is the best to work with? I hope my Monumetric review will be helpful as you search for the best ad network for your site!

I refused to run ads on my blog for a long, long time. Partly because I wanted to make sure it was worthwhile and partly because my readers loved coming to a clean, distraction free site.
Let’s be real here: the only folks who really like ads are the ones making money on them.
Am I right?
As a blogger who promoted simple living, I always felt ads were off-brand for me. So when I decided to monetize my site, ads weren’t an option!
I tried to find the money I needed by joining a few affiliate programs. But at the time I was a blogger with less than 50,000 page views a month, and I soon discovered steady affiliate income didn’t come easily.
Changing my strategy, I tried creating and selling digital products (like e-books, printables, courses) to my audience. And they did better. Much better. But the financial progress was still slow.
So when I finally decided to join Monumetric and saw my income from ads going up, up and up, I was floored. Even the lowest paying month of the year still surpass my previous income by 300%!
And I didn’t have to do a thing except sit back and watch the dollars roll in.
So let’s dive into this and talk about how much money you can make with Monumetric.
How Much Can You Make with Monumetric vs Other Streams of Income?
I was making about $100 a month before I joined Monumetric, and while my income was growing, it wasn’t growing very fast.
One hundred dollars a month felt especially insignificant after my husband and I set some new financial goals for ourselves and realized we needed to raise our income.
He did his part by changing jobs.
I knew I could make my blog work for us. I just needed to start converting it from a hobby to a business. And I tried.
But there was just one problem. Everywhere I turned, I was held back by a lack of finances.
I needed money to make money.
With just $100 a month in revenue, there wasn’t enough to hire help when needed, to grow my email list, buy a keyword research tool or take courses that would speed up the learning and monetization process.
There was only one option left! I had to start running ads to get the momentum I needed. So I asked around in my favorite blogging group: which is the best ad network for publishers with less than 50,000 page views a month?
Everyone had the same advise: go with Monumetric.
So I joined in the fall of 2022 with very low expectations. If I could just make $200 a month, that would be enough to move forward.
And move forward, I did!!
My first full month with Monumetric increased my income by more than 500%! The next month did better. And the next. In my highest paying month, I saw more than a 700% increase in revenue!
Now that’s something worth talking about!
So how much can you make with Monumetric?
Monumetric RPM (revenue per 1,000 impressions)
I wish I could tell you how much you’ll make on your site if you join Monumetric. But I can’t. π
Ad income varies significantly from site to site and depends on your niche, page views (or unique views) and even the time of year affects your income.
So I can’t tell you how much you’ll make if you sign up with Monumetric. But I can give you sneak peek into my analytics with Monumetric and the RPMs I’ve received.
This is a screen shot of my first full month with Monumetric.
As you can see, I was making $18.45 per 1,000 sessions or $15.62 per 1,000 page views, which results in earnings of $592.17.

The second month just happened to be October, which usually brings me lots of page views on account of food preserving tutorials on my site.
Here, I was getting $18.44 per 1,000 sessions or $15.81 per 1,000 page views.

Then there was beautiful November.
I also get a lot of page views in the month of November and seeing as it’s the month before Christmas and advertisers are paying premium prices, I made $787.63 at $20.12 per 1,000 sessions or $16.99 per 1,000 page views that I received.

Looks great, huh?
Well, the income didn’t stay there. π
You see, I joined Monumetric in the fall when companies really pull on their advertising shoes and pay the big bucks. Until Christmas, that is. But in the first quarter of the new year (Jan-March), they aren’t as eager and always pay less.
You might be wondering how much less?
When I was trying to budget and plan ahead, I asked an older and more experienced blogger what I should expect for ad revenue in the new year.
Her response?
Like many of us, you’ll probably see a 75% decrease in ad revenue in the first 3 months of the year, both because your page views drop and because advertisers pay less.
And while I didn’t see a 75% decrease, my income did drop in the new year.
See?
In January, I made $12.21 per 1,000 sessions or $10.27 per 1,000 page views. A total of $332.03.

It’s still 3x more than I was previously making, but it isn’t quite as glamorous as a 700% increase! And that’s just the way it goes with ads.
Am I still delighted with these results?
You bet!

How Does Monumetric Pay Compared to Other Ad Networks?
According to my research (and the advice given to me by more experienced bloggers in fall of 2022), Monumetric has the best payout for a bloggers with less than 50,000 page views per month.
Monumetric is also one of the better companies to work with, and I have many good things to say about my experience with them!

Monumetric Requirements to Join
In order to join Monumetric, you needed a minimum of 10,000 page views a month. And if you have less than 80,000 page views a month, there’s also a $99 set up fee.
But don’t worry. You’ll soon earn it back. I did in the first week!
When I let myself think about, I regret the fact that I didn’t run ads when I first hit 10,000 page views a month. I lost 4? 5? years of ad income and thousands of dollars to boot. Every time I think about it…well…let’s just say I feel better if I don’t think about it.
If I’d monetized my website with ads back then, I could have bought courses that would have saved me hundreds of hours spent in confusion and muddling around.
If I’d joined Monumetric sooner, my blog would have a much larger reach and be earning a more money.
Had I run ads half a decade ago, I would have had money to buy a new camera, sooner.
I even could have had a new computer to work on, instead of struggling along with my cracked laptop that was so floppy and broken it had to be propped up with a can of rocks.
See what I mean? I feel better if I just don’t think about it.
What is it Like to Work with Monumetric?
I would definitely say my experience with Monumetric has been positive. Not perfect. But positive. π Let me break down my experience with the company so far.
I had to wait 8+ weeks to have my application accepted
When I joined in the fall of 2022, it took more than 8 weeks to hear back from the company. At the time I applied, the ever popular Mediavine had just raised their requirements to join, so I assume the slowness was because Monumetric was swamped with applications.
After all, they are the new up-and-coming ad network for bloggers like me!
My patience was well rewarded in the end.
Set up directions were only communicated through email
Monumetric folks are very helpful, but they only communicate through email. As far as I know, there’s no chat for set up or some other instant service. Because of this, it’s a bit slower. But I did like having an email I could pull up and refer back to for directions.
Something I could even print off, if needed.
When I struggled with setup directions, they broke it down into bite size pieces
I’m probably the least technologically savvy person you’ve ever brushed shoulders with in the online world. Really. I’m a born and bred farm girl who didn’t grow up around computers, cell phones or even the internet.
So I found the set up process a bit confusing. This girl needs things to be painfully clear and directions have to be baby simple. I need every step in the process outlined in a sequential way.
Something like this: go to my portal>set up>xyz key>something>something else>something more…and click something more for your set up page!
See, I can’t even make sense here!
There were times when I had to email back and clarify. Am I looking for such-and-such on my own personal site? On Google Ads Manger? Or on my Monumetric account?
Folks at Monumetric were always super helpful and never made me feel for dumb for not understanding. Even though I totally am! π
They gave me freedom with ad placements
This was one of my “must haves” if was going to run ads. Lots of networks that smaller bloggers can join don’t give you a say in ad placement or in the number of ads that appear.
And while Monumetric does require a minimum of 6 ads per page or post for their Propel program (which is for bloggers with 10K-80K views a month), they do give you freedom and a voice with what happens on your site.
When they first set up on my blog, Monumetric warned me there’d be ads everywhere. And that it would take a month or so to figure out which placements would earn me the most money.
They also made it clear that they’d change ad positions or even completely remove certain ones if I wasn’t happy with them. All I had to do was shoot them an email, letting them know.
Which I did. π
At the time, I was having some trouble with my theme and one of the ads actually covered some of my written content, which was super frustrating for readers.
To this day, I don’t know if the mishap occurred because of my theme or if it was an error on Monumetrics part. I’m inclined to think it was the first. But it doesn’t matter. Because I instantly emailed them and the ad was removed in the next day or two.
When setup was done, they asked for my feedback and responded to it
When the setup process was complete, they asked for my feedback regarding my experience. I told them I’m really handicapped when it comes to tech stuff. And that I struggled to understand directions at times, that it would have been easier if things had been just a bit clearer.
Guess what?
The manager wrote me an email in return and thank me for my response!
To summarize? We want our process to be so clear and simple that folks who aren’t tech savvy can easily set up without problems. Thank you for your feedback. It’s very valuable to us! I’ll be taking it to the team.
Pretty impressive, isn’t it?
How do I sign up for Monumetric?
I hope this Monunetric review has been helpful as you look to monetize your website.
Joining has been a game changer for me. With less than 50,000 page views every 30 days, I’m not earning thousands of dollars every month. But I do finally have the money I need to move forward (and save a bit on the side as well!).
So if you’re like me and need some extra money to invest into growing your blog, buying equipment, or if you some additional income to pay off debt or save up for something special? Monumetric is a wonderful choice.
You can click this link here if you’re ready to monetize your website!
If you apply and get accepted, Monumetric will send you a welcome email and match you up with one of the good folks who work for the company. And that person will walk you through it all via email, step by step.
And if the process seems straightforward? You’re either more technologically skilled than I am or they’ve made things clearer because of some lame brain girl who went through it all in the fall of 2022!
