Is the first cold of winter trying to settle in? Are you and your family struggling to fight it off? Add this immunity boosting water to your ‘natural remedies!’

Help your body do it’s job with nothing more than water, lemons and ginger! Here’s how it works.

How to Make Immunity Boosting Water

WHY WATER, GINGER AND LEMONS?

Water is essential to helping your body digest food and flush toxins. Even the blood moves better throughout your body when adequate amounts of water are consumed. When sick, it’s especially important to remain hydrated.

Ginger not only helps with an upset stomach, it’s also anti-bacterial and will help your body fight infection.

Lemons are rich in vitamin C which helps support your immune system. Something we all want!

IMMUNITY BOOSTING WATER RECIPE

You’ll need:

  • a pitcher or half gallon jar
  • 6-7 inch piece of ginger
  • 8 C filtered water
  • juice of 2 lemons
  • 10-12 stevia drops for optional sweetener

Directions: take your jar/pitcher and fill it with approximately 8 C water. Beside the pitcher, juice the lemons with your lemon juicer.

Pour into the pitcher of water.

Place your cheese grater on a tray and finely grate the piece of ginger. Collect into a tea bag or coffee filter and tie off. Add to the lemon water. Pour juices from tray into the pitcher as well.

How to Make Immune Boosting Water

Add drops of liquid stevia, if desired.

Pour yourself a glass, then put the remaining liquid in the refrigerator to preserve healing qualities. Ensure that both you and your family sips on this throughout the day. Continue doing so for up to 2 weeks, if necessary.

Because the additives in the water loses their healing properties when exposed to oxygen, make only as much as your household can consume in a day.

Add this recipe to your natural medicine cabinet to help fight the winter colds!
