How to Roast Frozen Asparagus in the Oven

a dozen
asparagus
spears
avocado
oil
(can use olive oil or other cooking oil)
sprinkle
of
salt
light
dusting
black pepper
Optional additions
red
pepper
flakes
sprinkle
of garlic
powder
squeeze
fresh
lemon juice before serving
parsmesan
cheese
before serving
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350F.
Spread frozen spears out on a baking sheet and drizzle with a light layer of cooking oil.
Toss asparagus spears to coat with oil.
Spread asparagus out on baking sheet in a single layer.
Sprinkle with salt, black pepper or red pepper flakes (if using).
Roast in hot oven for 15 minutes.
Add lemon juice or parmesan cheese, if desired.
Lift from baking sheet and serve hot.
