Have you ever found yourself juggling too many things all at once? After fumbling around for a while and doing a half-hearted job, you suddenly realize there’s nothing wrong with you or your skills? The actual issue is that you’re trying to do too much?
Everyone differs in what they can handle, with how many things they can juggle all at once. Some women enjoy having a million tasks on the go, while others find “excess stuff” stressful and overwhelming. In this world, I think it’s important that you know yourself and act according to whatever enables you to live your life well.
Why am I bringing this up? Well, I just realized I’ve been juggling too many things all at once.
You see, at the beginning of the year I started taking a very intense blogging course. It’s been amazing and I’m so excited about what I’ve been learning! But here’s the hard thing I’ve had to face: I don’t have enough creative juices to complete the course and continually put out new blog posts.
I just can’t do both.
So I’m here to tell you that I’m going to be taking a wee break from blogging until I get through the meat of this course. Oh, it won’t be long. Just a few months (at most).
Because while I do love putting out new content for you to read, I also need to work on the backbone of my blog. I’ll still be spending time behind the computer every morning. But you won’t see the results of it for a while yet.
I wanted to share this to give you a heads up, to encourage and remind you it’s ok to let go of things so you can live a healthier, more balanced life at home.
I’m taking a wee break and I’ll see you in a few months. In the meantime, just know that some exciting stuff is in the works! 😉
