NATURAL IMMUNE SUPPORTS

I believe that eating well, rest and eliminating unnecessary stress from our lives is the best immune support! However, we all hit those unfortunate times when we need a boost. Here are some tips for you.

Immune Boosting Liquids

Its important to enable the body to fight winter colds before they take up residency! And putting immune supportive goods into your drinking water is a wonderful way to do just that! Not only will it remind you to stay hydrated, but it tastes good too!

Lemon Water keeps the body in good health throughout the winter months with a kick of natural vitamin C and a pH balanced body!

Rose Hip Lemon Water with rose hips for natural vitamin C and lemons to support, you can fight off any winter bug!

Flu-Warding Water consists of ginger, lemons and echinacea. Buzz off, holiday flu!

Supportive Juice does well for those who can’t stomach lemons or rose hips. Let raw apple juice be your cover up!

Natural Remedies

Use home remedies is an old fashioned skill, one that is easily learned and if caught soon enough, very effective in fighting off all kinds of winter bugs!

Kick the Cold Tincture tastes terrible but works wonders when taken every 2 hrs!

Rose Hip Syrup is the easiest of our home remedies to take, yet perhaps least potent because rose hips are exposed to heat in the waterbath canning process. Also see Rose Hip Syrup w/ Mint.

Rose Hip Vinegar is strong in vitamin C properties with a semi-mild flavor. Make during fall months when rose hips are ready to be foraged!

Stay Away Extract will ward off more than sickness; you may loose a few friends as well! Composed from the juice of onions, garlic and apple cider vinegar, you’ll knock the houseflies dead with your breath! Extremely potent and effective if those in your household can withstand the smell!

NATURAL HYGIENE

With any aspect of natural hygiene, the answer lies not in the product, but in your diet! Yes, really and truly. So many issues we face today are a result of poor nutrition. Lack of proper fuel makes for poor function. Tooth decay, skin blemishes and dryness, thinning or dull hair; its a sign of inward symptoms. No product can reverse an issue caused by a deficiency in the body. Learn to see your outward symptom not as the problem, but instead an indicator of a deeper issue.

The Skin

No one wants to put chemical-laden lotions on our absorbent skin! Here are simple, easy to make alternatives for your kitchen!

Infused Oils-if you are looking for quick absorption, infuse light oils in healing herbs. Particularly great for the face!

Herbal Lotion-has a ‘normal’ lotion consistency and is suitable for a pump bottle!

Deep Skin Moisturizer -a basic, whipped body body of shea, coconut and a carrier oil.

Deep Cleansing Sugar Scrub-an all time favorite of mine and customers!

Moisturizing Bar-want a ‘lighter’ lotion bar that isn’t so heavy on the wax? So did I! Try out this recipe.

Skin Balm is waxier substance, suitable for very deep penetration! Good for elbows and dry feet.

Oral Care

As with everything else, eating well is the answer to having healthy teeth! Pair that with good toothpaste and you may find yourself on the return road to health!

Humic Mineral Tooth Powder-using minerals to brush our teeth sounds wonderful, doesn’t it?!

Humic Mineral Toothpaste-if you don’t like powders, here’s one that can be kept in a squeeze tube!
