Summer hit our little valley this year with a burst of hot sunshine and a wave of heat that is so intense, I could definitely pop corn on the hood of my vehicle! And once again, I’m feeling the summer vibes.
It happens every year. When this season hits, I just want to spend my days playing in the gardens, preparing meals outside, swimming in the rivers, sleeping under the stars and intentionally forgetting that I’m a homemaker, blogger and responsible human being.
The past year has been difficult for nearly everyone I know. And I think this summer is the perfect time to embrace life once again with the knowledge and perspectives that have been handed to us.
Because even tough times give us opportunity to learn and better our lives. Every time.
As a result of the lessons I’ve learned, I’m here to announce that I’m not going to pressure myself to post on the blog for the next few months. It’s going to be one of those “if I feel like it” situations.
There are plenty of ideas rolling around in my head, but both my mind and body need a break from the planning and “have to” situations. In the meantime, I’ll be working behind-the-scenes to finish up my canning course. My man and I are also going to be working on a special project for you as well.
More on that later!
But for now, shut off the screens, Throw your phone in a drawer. And join me in soaking up the summer season!
